Bio:

Dream Mullick is a writer, teacher, healer, event and film producer, death coach and dreamer. Born in Madras, India, to an East Indian dad and a Jewish American mom, Dream was destined to bridge cultures and weave worlds. Her childhood unfolded between a hippie commune in Tennessee called The Farm and a suburban coastal town in central Florida, where she learned from a very early age how to navigate many diverse realms of “reality.”

Dream’s current teachings focus on the sacred thresholds of birth and death, alongside the ancient and modern science of plant and psychedelic medicines. Profoundly shaped by her own encounters with Death, Sacred Plants, and Psychedelics, Dream regards them as her master teachers. Her first experience with mushrooms, 35 years ago, continues to guide her as do the deaths of her father and husband.

Dream’s offerings are enriched by diverse studies and initiations, including divination, dreams, death meditation, Tibetan dream yoga, business school, intuitive studies, soul retrieval, somatic trauma work, Shambhala meditation, 19 ways to the 5th world, and other transformative modalities.

Her birth name, inspired by John Lennon’s “Imagine,” mirrors an intrinsic connection to “extra-ordinary” realms of consciousness and dreams, which often guide and illuminate her path. Deeply rooted in the beauty way of the natural world and mystical spiritual realms, her work is a tapestry of these influences.

Ep 04 From Menstruation to Menopause—Psychedelics & Women’s Health

In this episode, we explore the role psychedelics, especially ketamine, can play in women’s health from menstruation to menopause. Psychotherapist Melissa Whippo shares her history working with women both before and after birth to help them with anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Melissa was behind the first study to determine whether ketamine was safe for lactating mothers. To put it in context, I provide a little historical back story on how MDMA became a Schedule I drug. I then discuss the history of MAPS and their tireless work to bring MDMA back into the therapeutic world as a legal medicine.
I talk about the wisdom of the medicine, lessons on integrity, ethical standards, and the importance of accountability in psychedelic therapy. Finally, I explore the difference between intention and expectation in psychedelic experiences and how the medicine can often say no to us when we show up with an expectation instead of an open-minded intention.
